How do I place an order?
For a custom gift basket, email us at info@sagejoygifts.ca with your budget and preferred theme or occasion. Custom baskets start at $75, and we’ll work with you to create a thoughtful, personalized gift.
You can also shop online 24/7 by adding your favourite products to your cart and proceeding to checkout.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Interac e-Transfer to info@sagejoygifts.ca. Please include your order number in the transfer message.
We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal for online orders.
Are the prices listed in U.S. or Canadian dollars?
All prices listed on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and will be charged in Canadian funds.
Do you accept large corporate orders?
Absolutely! We create custom gift baskets for corporate events, client appreciation, and team gifting, starting at $100 per basket. Email info@sagejoygifts.ca with the number of baskets, your budget per basket, your theme or occasion, and your preferred delivery date. We’ll work with you to plan the details.

Do I need to set up an account to order online?
No account needed! Simply choose your gifts and check out as a guest. If you’d like, you can create a free account to view your order history and make future checkout easier.
Can I include a personalized message with my gift basket?
Yes! Every gift basket includes a complimentary mini message card. Add your personal message, the recipient’s name, and who the gift is from in the cart notes before checkout. For custom orders by email, include these details with your basket request. You can also choose a greeting card upgrade from our available add-ons.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes! You’ll receive an email confirmation after placing your order. If you have any questions about your delivery, email us at info@sagejoygifts.ca. We’re happy to help.
Shipping & Delivery
How much is delivery within the Calgary area?
We offer local delivery for $15 CAD within 30 km of our shop location and $20 CAD beyond 30 km, up to 45 km. Enter your delivery address at checkout to see availability and your delivery fee.
For delivery requests outside this area, please email info@sagejoygifts.ca.
How long does shipping take for orders outside of Calgary?
We take one day to prepare orders using items from our current inventory. Shipping time is additional and depends on the carrier and destination. For custom baskets or gifts needed by a particular date, email info@sagejoygifts.ca so we can confirm the timing with you.
What happens if the recipient is not home at the time of delivery?
Houses & townhomes: If no one is home, we’ll leave your gift basket in a safe, weather-protected spot, such as a covered porch.
Apartments & condominiums: We’ll contact the recipient ahead of time to arrange a convenient delivery time. To keep your gift secure, we can’t leave baskets in hallways or lobbies. The recipient’s phone number is required so we can coordinate a smooth handoff.
What if the address I provided is incorrect?
Please double-check the recipient’s address and delivery details before placing your order. If you spot a mistake, email info@sagejoygifts.ca as soon as possible so we can help update it before delivery.
If an incorrect address or missed delivery means we need to make another trip, an additional re-delivery fee will apply.
Do you ship outside of the Calgary area?
We ship across Canada, so you can send a thoughtful gift near or far. Standard shipping is a flat $35 CAD, including Alberta. Local delivery has separate rates, and available options are shown at checkout.
Can I request a specific delivery date?
Yes! Planning a gift for a special day? Leave your preferred delivery date in the “Order special instructions” box in your cart before checkout. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Arrival dates for orders sent by a shipping carrier can’t be guaranteed. If timing is especially important, email info@sagejoygifts.ca before ordering so we can plan together.
Can you deliver to P.O. Boxes or hospitals?
We’re happy to help your gift reach someone special. A physical street address is required, as we don’t deliver to P.O. Boxes.
For hospital deliveries, please include the hospital’s name and address, the patient’s full name, unit, and room number. Before ordering, please confirm that the hospital accepts gift deliveries and that the recipient will still be admitted on the delivery date.
Products & Customization
I have allergies. Are your gift baskets safe for me?
Your wellbeing matters to us. Our gift baskets may include foods containing nuts, wheat, dairy, soy, or other allergens, as well as scented products that may affect people with sensitivities.
We’re not an allergen-free facility, and cross-contact may occur, so we can’t guarantee an allergen-free basket. Please check each product’s ingredient labels and allergen warnings before use or consumption.

Can I customize the items in a gift basket?
Absolutely! Creating a gift that feels personal is at the heart of Sage & Joy. We can help you choose items from our current inventory to suit your recipient, budget, and theme or occasion.
Email info@sagejoygifts.ca with your ideas before ordering, and we’ll confirm what’s available and any price difference. Custom baskets start at $75, with corporate and real-estate baskets starting at $100.
During busy holiday seasons, customization options may be more limited, so reaching out early gives us more time to plan something thoughtful together.
Will the gift basket look exactly like the picture on the website?
Every basket is put together with care to capture the style and feeling of the gift pictured. As our inventory changes, some products may differ from the photo. When a substitution is needed, we’ll choose a similar item of equal or greater value while keeping the overall theme of your basket.
